Dr. Albert graduated from the University of Connecticut in Storrs with a degree in chemistry. In 1984 he earned his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine at the UCONN Health Center in Farmington, and completed his pediatric dentistry residency in 1986. Dr. Albert opened his first office in East Hartford in 1987, then moved to its current location in Manchester in 2000.
Dr. Albert serves as a faculty member at the medical and dental schools in Farmington, where he teaches head and neck anatomy, critical thinking in dentistry, and practice management. He is the director for the dental school’s mentor program, in which pre-doctoral students attend offices in private practice for career guidance. He has also served the dental school by leading third-year service trips to underserved communities in Central and South America, including Peru, Belize, Honduras, and the Galapagos Islands.
Dr. Albert is married to Karen. They share four sons, two daughters-in-law, two granddaughters and a grandson. When he’s not teaching or traveling, he likes to golf, play basketball, and ski.
