Dr. Albert graduated from the University of Connecticut in Storrs with a degree in chemistry. In 1984 he earned his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine at the UCONN Health Center in Farmington, and completed his pediatric dentistry residency in 1986. Dr. Albert opened his first office in East Hartford in 1987, then moved to its current location in Manchester in 2000.
Dr. Albert has served as a faculty member at the UCONN Medical and Dental schools in Farmington, where he has taught Head and Neck Anatomy and Critical Thinking in Dentistry. He is currently the course director for Practice Management and for the dental school's Mentor Program, in which pre-doctoral students attend offices in private practice for career guidance. He also serves the dental school by leading third-year student service trips to underserved communities in Puerto Rico, Maine and Rosebud Reservation in South Dakota and internationally, including the countries of Peru, Belize, Honduras, the Galapagos Islands, Tanzania, and the Dominican Republic.
Dr. Albert is married to Karen. They share four sons, three daughters-in-law, two granddaughters, a grandson, and three 'granddogs.' When he’s not teaching or traveling, he likes to golf and read.
